PT Transjakarta Operational Director, Prasetia Budi disclosed, it is an effort to improve service and follow up from Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head's Decree number 498/2021 on Change of Track 2 Route or Mikrotrans Small Bus Integration Service Route Code.

"These two services will touch 25.735 km distance from the previous was 16,240 km for one trip," he stated, Wednesday (10/6).

First Phase of Payment Integration for Transportation Modes Targeted to Be Realized in August

He explained, the Mikrotrans service was indeed the first mile and last mile, as well as the feeder service programmed by Transjakarta to make it easier for people to get access to integrated and efficient transportation physically or in the payment system.

It was applied to cover points that require feeder transport access. One of them was on JAK 19 route (Pinang Ranti Terminal and Kampung Rambutan Terminal) which could already serve the community in both terminals. They previously only served the route from Pinang Ranti to Setu.

"By so, we hope it is able to support our customer to get to the destination," he stressed.

To enjoy it, they just use one card with a temporary tariff of Rp 0 or free. Even, his party was using a cashless scheme in order to curb the Covid-19 transmission.

"Just tap in and tap out your card on the electronic tapping equipment installed in all fleets that meet Covid-19 standards," he continued.

He added, Transjakarta will continue to strive to better serve the public for transportation needs as a form of the company's consistency in providing access to transportation that is safe and comfortable during the pandemic.
